Dhangkar Gompa, the most exquisitely set village in the entire valley spells its magic on you as soon as you enter the village. You can embrace the magical panorama with the River Spiti flowing in the background.
I stayed at Lofsang's homestay named Eay ma ho which was supposedly the only functional homestay in winters.
I was already having the most adventurous time of my life by being in the village in winters that it doubled up when Lofsang agreed to guide me to Frozen Dhangkar lake.

Winters in Spiti Valley are harsh but extremely beautiful, there is not even a single day that I was bored in my entire one month trip in Jan2017. I wish to be back home and explore the majestic land once again.
