This has been a long time coming! Paris was such a delight! A dream city truly, where we got to spend our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived in Paris, we were welcomed by rain & lots of it! Being used to the clear blue skies in other cities of Italy, we were perplexed. Still, Paris was an experience! Here are some photos of our trip.
The Magnificent Louvre! From reading about it in Dan Brown novels to seeing it in front of our eyes, we pinched ourselves! This was one of the best museums (and the largest!) we have ever been to. It took us close to 3 hours to see the entire museum!
The Petite Palace
Looked like such a unique fountain made with black stone & Gold accents! I remember having my first Nutella Crepe here! You must have it if you visit Paris.
Managed to squeeze in a visit to MontMarte on the last day! Having heard so so much about this place, we took a train ride in the morning & came here for a bit. So glad we did! It was the cutest little village i have ever seen. Right out of a dream!!
Posing here, because obviously! Look at the pretty streets
The acclaimed Moulin Rouge is also here!
The perfect Parisian picture! This whole picture oozes class, doesn't it?
Which Paris photo album can be complete without a photo of the Eiffel Tower! We had heard so much about it. We had booked a 10pm tour of the eiffel, right to the top! So glad we did, it was the most magical night in Paris. By the way, this photo was taken at 8 pm in the night! The Summer Sun in europe is insane. It doesn't set before 10 pm!
We also did a Disneyland tour! So, it was quite an adventure, we were fined 60 Euros for taking a wrong ticket. Don't know how it was our fault as nothing is in English there! Plus the metro route is the most longest & complicated in the world. Think 16 lines with 4 different routes. !
This is winery in Lyon. Being wine enthusiasts, our trip wasn't complete without doing a wine tour! It was so educational & just so pretty. This is an entry into a village called beaujoleis village. Here they make only beaujoleis wine.
Cute streets of the village. I can totally live here!
Had the bestest time in Paris!! See you later now, the holiday blues are back.
