Las Vegans love getting out of Las Vegas. Since our options are often limited, this usually means trips to LA. And trips to LA usually mean trips to Ikea. My friends and I are all serious foodies (one of them is a chef), so we decided to basically eat our way through LA.
The food was amazing. We came here for afternoon tea and even though the hostess had warned the kitchen that we were running late, the chef apparently threw a bit of a fit and only made two of some items instead of three (and we were paying for three). Everything tasted delicious but the service was extremely slow which was puzzling since the restaurant was quiet. Still, the food was worth the poor service. And I don't say that often.
Fabulous meal. We ordered several small plates and two desserts and split everything. It was one of the best meals I've ever had. Service was great and the ambiance was really lovely too. While I would never pass up Gordon's sticky toffee pudding, his pistachio creme brulee demanded a lot of attention too.
What do you crave in Little Tokyo? Sushi. We randomly found this spot on Yelp. Great sushi and some awesome daily specials. Glad we found it!
Interesting place to wander. Found some cool shops with great prices that we can't find at home. One of my friends loves fashion so we came here for her and it wasn't quite what we expected but still cool.
Cool district, great Japanese shops and restaurants and a lot of things that are pretty hard to find elsewhere. Fun to wander!
