Ladakh is a land of unmatched beauty and with every turning of the road the region has to offer something new to your sight. You will understand the culture by visiting monasteries and the local people that you encounter. The core part of “LADAKH BIKE TRIP” is to not only visit major points of and to immerse yourself in the unique art, culture, and history of Ladakh, but to have a zeal and adrenaline rush of being on a bike on some of the world's highest passes.

The plan is for a 6 night and 7 Days immersion into the culture and landscape of Ladakh.

Itinerary
  • Welcome to Ladakh extending from the Glacier to the main Great Himalayas, Ladakh is a land like no other. Guests arrive at the airport and make their way to the hotel at their own expense.
  • Upon arrival at the hotel, our representative will meet and assist with the check-in process.
  • Today is set aside to allow you to settle in and rest up before we start tomorrow to explore stunning landscapes and roads. By afternoon our Supported Team leader will meet you at the hotel and brief you about the Trip. You will get your Bikes and Riding Gears at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Leh
  • Set off on a fun-filled sightseeing tour of Leh from your hotel. Embark on a thrilling bike tour in Leh, where you can discover the enchanting city and its prominent landmarks, including the iconic Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, Sangam (confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers) and vibrant Leh Market. Afterwards, immerse yourself in the local experience by exploring the bustling market for authentic Tibetan handicaps.
  • End your day with an overnight stay at your pre-booked hotel in Leh.

  • We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass (17582 feet) the highest motorable road. The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels. Diskit Monastery, the monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river. You can go for an adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hunder (3150m).
  • Today we will ride towards Turtuk village and back to Hundar.
  • Travel distance and time (180 km / 6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (intermediate)
  • Turtuk is the northernmost village in India situated in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shyok River. It is the Balti region that was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control over this important area. Turtuk is the last outpost of India at Thang after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins. Turtuk is famous for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots.
  • Overnight stay at a Swiss camp in Hundar
  • We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx). Terrain Type (advance level as most of the terrain will be off-roading and water crossings will be there.)
  • You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprised to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of the mountains. Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high-altitude saltwater lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India. Pangong Lake's altitude is 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at Pangong.
  • Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (Advance).
  • Today we will head back to Leh, early in the morning you will be able to capture a beautiful sunrise Time Lapse at the Pangong Lake. On the way, you will cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m. You will visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and Rancho’s school.
  • Today is the last day of your journey. The majority of flights in Leh leave early in the morning or late in the evening. You can fly back to your hometown depending on your flight schedule.
  • This is where the magnificent and enthralling Leh Ladakh bike trip comes to an end.

  • Meals not mentioned in the “Inclusions” section.
  • Anything not mentioned in the package includes section.
  • Security Deposit for Bike ₹ 5000 Per Person.
  • Security Deposit will be refundable. In case of any damages to the bike and riding gear, the client has to be borne directly.
  • In case of any damage to the riding gears the customer is liable to pay for the damage
  • In case of accidents the customer is liable to pay for the damages he/she made
  • Any medical or evacuation expenses
  • Expenses incurred due to any factors beyond our control like natural calamities, landslides, political insurgencies etc.
  • Any services/meals not mentioned in Cost Includes.
  • GST 5%
Payment Process
  • All payments for the package cost must be made by the customer to the company in accordance with the procedure and time frame mentioned below.
  • Minimum 25% of total land package to paid at the time of booking.
  • Remaining of total land package before departure date.
  • For Air Tickets, 100% of payment for flight tickets at the time of booking.

Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.

§ Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.

§ It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.

§ Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.

§ The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.

§ Tripoto reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.

§ The slot options and motorcycle choice options are available on a first come first serve basis only.

§ Check for slot availability with the sales executive at Tripoto before booking flights.

§ Dual: Two people sharing one bike. Solo: One person on one bike.

In order to cover our expected loss from the cancellation of the booking below is set scale of charges which must be paid by traveler.

§ 20 % of total package cost will be charged as cancellation amount 30 or more days before your travel date.

§ 40% of total package cost will be charged as cancellation amount between 20 to 30 days before your travel date.

§ 60% of package cost will be charged as cancellation amount between 10 to 20 days before your travel date.

§ 100% of the package cost will be charged as a cancellation amount less than 10 days before your travel date.
