Overview

Ladakh is a land of unmatched beauty and with every turning of the road the region has to offer something new to your sight. You will understand the culture by visiting monasteries and the local people that you encounter. The core part of “LADAKH BIKE TRIP” is to not only visit major points of and to immerse yourself in the unique art, culture, and history of Ladakh, but to have a zeal and adrenaline rush of being on a bike on some of the world's highest passes.

The plan is for 10 nights and 11Days immersion into the culture and landscape of Ladakh.

Itinerary
  • Get ready to start your action packed journey as you reach the reporting spot in Delhi.
  • Board the volvo in Delhi from the reporting point the overnight journey takes you through some of the most scenic views as you travel to the majestic Himalayas to reach Manali the next morning. This will be around a 12-hour journey.
  • Early morning you will reach Manali, from there you need to reach a hotel. For Hotel details, you can contact the concerned salesperson and proceed with the check-in. After check-in into the hotel, you can rest and visit nearby places in Manali like Mall Road, and Hadimba Devi temple.
  • In the evening you will have a briefing session at 7:00 pm there you’ll meet the team marshal and the marshal will brief you about the routes, rules and regulations, and the marshal will explain to you in detail how to ride in the Himalayas.
  • Early morning after breakfast we will ride towards Jispa Travel distance and time (95km/4-5hrs).
  • Terrain type (intermediate).
  • The Atal tunnel is 9km long and it is the longest highway tunnel above 10000 feet (3,048 m) in the world. On the way we will visit the beautiful valley of Lahaul and you need to cross Sisu and Keylong.
  • Travel distance and travel time (240 kms/ 07 – 08 hrs)
  • Terrain type ( advance).
  • On the way we will visit the beautiful valley of Lahaul and you need to cross Darcha, Baralacha pass (15,910 ft) and get to cross the snow-covered Baralacha, Serchu (Border) between Himachal and Ladakh). Crossing 22 Gata loops, Nakila pass, Lachungla pass, and More planes (Kiang Chu Thang) 45 km straight road. You need to cross Tanglang la pass (5328m/17480ft). It is the highest pass on the Manali- Leh highway.
  • Leh Altitude- 3500 meters.

  • We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass (17582 feet) the highest motorable road. The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels. Diskit Monastery, the monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river. You can go for an adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hunder (3150m).
  • Today we will ride towards Turtuk village and back to Hundar.
  • Travel distance and time (180 km / 6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (intermediate)
  • Turtuk which is the northernmost village in India situated in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shyok river. It is the Balti region that was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control over this important area. Turtuk is the last outpost of India at Thang after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit- Baltistan begins. Turtuk is famous for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hundar
  • We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx). Terrain Type (advance level as most of the terrain will be off-roading and water crossings will be there.)
  • You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprised to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of the mountains. Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high-altitude saltwater lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India. Pangong Lake's altitude is 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at Pangong.
  • Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (Advance).
  • Today we will head back to Leh, early in the morning you will be able to capture a beautiful sunrise Time Lapse at the Pangong Lake. On the way, you will cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m. You will visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and Rancho’s school.
  • Travel distance and time (220km /6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (intermediate).
  • Check-out from your hotel in Leh after which you will begin your bike ride to Kargil. Embark on an adventurous journey to Kargil through the beautiful Sham Valley, where you can honour the martyrs at the Hall Of Fame. On your way, experience the magnetic phenomenon of Magnetic Hills and discover the captivating Lamayuru Village, along with exploring Basgo Palace and its monastery.
  • Proceed to Kargil, where you will enjoy an overnight stay at your pre- booked hotel.
  • In the morning we will leave towards Srinagar
  • Travel distance and time (225km/7-8 hrs).
  • Terrain type (intermediate).
  • Early in the morning after having breakfast, we start riding toward our final Destination Srinagar. En route, we will visit the Memorial of the Kargil War and take pride in being Indian Citizens. On arrival, time to say goodbye to your best companion throughout the entire adventurous Manali Leh Srinagar road trip. The most adventurous Manali Leh Srinagar Road Trip will end here.
  • In the morning after breakfast around 9:00 am we will drop you to the Srinagar Airport. Hope you all board the flight with sweet memories and smile on your face. Please review us at our social media site.

Payment Process
  • - All payments for the package cost must be made by the customer to the company in accordance with the procedure and time frame mentioned below.
  • - A minimum of 25% of the total land package is to be paid at the time of booking.
  • - Remaining the total land package before the departure date.
  • - For Air Tickets, 100% of payment for flight tickets at the time of booking.

- Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; you should take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.

- Consult a physician before undertaking the tour. Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.

- It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.

- Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.

- The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.

- Tripacation reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurs (i.e. weather conditions, political conditions or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.

- For booking pay 25% of the package per person after that payment policy mentioned below will be applicable

- Above mentioned tour prices are per person for Indian Nationals only.

- The slot options and motorcycle choice options are available on a first come first serve basis only.

- Check for slot availability with the sales executive at Tripoto before booking flights.

- Dual: Two people sharing one bike. Solo: One person on one bike.

- In order to cover our expected loss from the cancellation of the booking below is a set scale of charges which must be paid by the traveler.

- 20 % of the total package cost will be charged as a cancellation amount 30 or more days before your travel date.

- 40% of the total package cost will be charged as cancellation amount between 20 to 30 days before your travel date.

- 60% of package cost will be charged as cancellation amount between 10 to 20 days before your travel date.

- 100% of the package cost will be charged as a cancellation amount less than 10 days before your travel date.

Cancellation Policy is subject to change. It purely depends upon the cancellation policy of respective hotels. In Peak seasons, Some hotels may charge 100% cancellation. Refunds normally take 12 working days after the cancellation request has been raised & transferred electronically to your bank account
