About the workshop
If you've always wanted to write your own novel, but weren’t sure where to begin, this workshop is for you. Hosted by a published author, Mahek Jangda, the workshop introduces you to the basics of fiction writing. This workshop will help you get started with designing and structuring your story, building plots and creating characters in your own style. Here's what you will take away:
About the host
An author, a dreamer and a student, meet Mahek Jangda. Her debut fiction novel 'Sometimes Ivory, Sometimes Sand', published by Hachette India in 2020, has been shortlisted for the VoW literature and arts festival, and was longlisted for the JK Paper and Times of India 'AutHer' awards. Her poetry has been featured by The Hindu Business Line (BLink), Hyderabad Literary Festival, UnErase, Kommune, Habitat Studios, Filtercopy and The Poetry Club (Mumbai). She has completed the Young India Fellowship Program and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from Ashoka University.
