Day 1
We visited the township of Lavasa.
Lavasa is a private, planned city being built near Pune. It is stylistically based on the Italian town Portofino, with a street and several buildings bearing the name of that town.
Lavasa is situated at a distance of 58 kms from Pune. One can easily get a cab from Pune to Lavasa. Pune is well connected by bus, train and flights with all parts of India. If you want to get away from the hustle bustle of the city for a day or two, Lavasa is the place for you. You can easily book a hotel room, stay there, go for nature walks and rejuvenate yourself.
I recommend this place for 1day picnic as well as 2-3 days break.
