Lava and lolegaon

NRC protest started in Guwahati and it was a sudden lockdown in state.Being a free bird my basic Instinct is to leave the state as soon as possible I reached siliguri and from there I planned for this place.
We got into local bus which took us comfortably to kalimpong,which is itself a hillstation.we checked into our hotel which was little far from market place but the resort was very peaceful exactly the type I like in hills.

we got fresh and went for dinner in the market place ,there are few good restaurants you can refer Zomato.

Next day morning we started our journey towards lava in a private cab,the roads were not that good as mostly construction was going on but ya scenic beauty was average,as my expectations were more. We stopped at one place for tea and Maggie.Trees around that place were colourful and it was looking different.

After an hour we reached the first view point from where we can see Sikkim.It was extremely beautiful as you were above the clouds.

Then we went towards our next destination which is lava monastery which is situated at last village of Bengal.It was a very peacefull place with scenic beauty thats worth the journey.

on our way back to hotel we visited one waterfall that is changey waterfall.small cars are not allowed in this route so it will be good if u have suv,if u want to cover this point.

It was a waste day for us we went with very high expectations but it was a disappointed place.Anywone who wants to stay alone for few days can visit this place resorts and government guest house is there in the dense forest which will give u peace..I personally didn't like this place so didn't took pics.
We came back early and took our bus return to siliguri.
