Would you prefer to stroll along an island that’s just 5 kilometers long? You can reach this tiny little island from lakshadweep. Since the island is so small that the authorities only let you stay for longer if you have a place of stay confirmed. A serene long long runs through the island where you can cycle or just take a quiet walk. Take a swim in the crystal clear water and make friends with the locals who operate the island as quietly as possible! Agatti islands are literally the perfect spot to get lost!
This was the last stop before we took a flight back to Kochi. This is roughly 60 km from Kavaratti. It stands out for the large clear lagoon it wombs. With a glass bottomed boat, we were able to see fishes, crabs, floating reefs, etc. It is a delightful sight! Boats to go into the lagoon are found in the jetty on the island.
We landed in Agatti airstrip in morning, considered to be one of the most dangerous airstrips of the world. The view of the island from the plane was stupendous. Since, it is not permitted to stay in Agatti for tourists, we were headed to Kadmath Island that is 3 hours away from this place in a high speed craft.
