Lachung: A treat to the eyes and soul. Do not miss if you are going to Sikkim

If you are looking for options to travel within India in next few months, I have got a really beautiful one for you called Lachung in Sikkim.

Most people go to Gangtok and from there to Chhangu Lake and Nathula Pass (Indo-China border) but there are some gems to be explored if you go northwards in the North-Eastern state. The best thing is that places like Lachung are far less crowded and you can soak the beauty of nature in a slow and relaxed manner.

By road, the journey from Gangtok to Lachung will take you about 5 hours including a break. A good halt about 35 minutes before Lachung is Naga Falls. You can sip some tea/coffee while listening to the music created by water flowing with force.

Landscape with blue skies, green water and snow capped mountains make Lachung in North Sikkim treat your eyes while the soul is spiritually fed by Buddhist flags and monasteries.
