🌎Destination: Today, our journey takes us to Lachen. We woke up fresh in the morning and had a delightful breakfast of hot, crispy luchis. After bidding farewell to Saakjear Lee Homestay, we promised to return soon. The place had already won our hearts, and Lubzang Uncle’s warm affection had made us feel like family.
The distance from Ringhim to Lachen is roughly 65.5 kilometers.
🚶♀️ Sightseeing on the Way:

– 🔺️ Chungthang Dam
– 🔺️ Lachen River Bed (Yuigang)
We reached Lachen around 3:30 PM.

A clean, well-kept homestay with all the basic amenities. From the room windows, you could see the snow-covered mountains, making it a breathtaking view. However, there was no Wi-Fi. Just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, you’d find Lachen Monastery.
After lunch, we headed to Lachen Monastery. Although it was closed in the evening, the surroundings were incredibly peaceful. There was a sweet fragrance in the air, and the light drizzle added to the dreamy vibe.
We quickly had dinner and went to bed early, as the next day was supposed to be the most exciting day of our trip.
