I was traveling in Gujarat with my cosine and as someone said"Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all."
We decide to do hitchhiking first time in my life..
In the middle of the desert me my cousin was waiting for someone to give us lift as we was on hitchhiking trip , it was already 2 or more hours we was waiting and asking everybody who is passing by.. , then after some more time my cousin saw this guy coming and he started waving hands towards him to stop him and to ask for lift.
And I was laughing because I thought bike is looking Soo old and why are you wasting time because he will not allow tripsy ride or even if he allows his bike will can't handle that But this guy came by us and stopped asked where you guys wanna go don't stop here more time it's almost sunset time. I was still looking was his bike and was thinking how he will manage to drop us he observed that and said " Madad Karne ke liye Dil bada chaiye sahab Gaadi nai, Chalo apko chauk Tak chodta hu" And he told that he's going till next village on our route but he can go little further and drop us two high side Square.
That's the guy Raju (hitchhiking -2), I insisted to take selfi when we reached that square he left us there and our journey continues....
The guys in pic showing thums up is the one of the those helping souls. these guy not only gave me lift for almost 100 km but also we share various stories, arrange next hitchhiking for me, help me to book return tickets in that white run Kutch where network was like feel like myth to me.
And after that when we had desi snacks out there on highway I insisted to pay he denied by holding my hand and said "Aap hamare Gujrat ke mehman ho to humare mehman ho." This was the hitchhiking trip where I experienced our "अतिथी देवो भव:" culture. I traveled more than 200 km by hitchhiking in Kutch, Gujrat and I overwhelmed with helps and lifts by various random people out there.
