ITINERARY:

DAY 1: HELLO Bali

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your resort in Kuta, a lively, high-end beach destination in southern Bali. What’s special about this resort, apart from its beachside location and picture-perfect setting, is its superb child-friendly facilities, with three kiddy pools (including a safe water zone and water slide), a special garden they can romp around in and a dedicated Kid’s Club (supervised) with daily programs.

Take time to settle in, unwind, at the pool or just soak up utter luxury of your surroundings. This evening, we meet in the lobby at 7pm for our first taste of Bali: enjoy a delectable Balinese dinner and get to know our bevy of divas over sambal and satay. Perfect conversation starters! (D)

DAY 2: KIDS GONE WILD

Welcome to an action-packed day of close encounters of the wild kind! After breakfast, we head out for an exciting safari ride that lets you spot over a hundred species of Balinese wildlife. Expect to catch more than a brief glimpse of the Sumatran elephant, meerkats, hippopotamuses and the elusive Sumatran tiger. You will also have an opportunity to hobnob with rare and indigenous animals and birds like the fierce Komodo Dragon and the endangered Bali Mynah. Next, we make a big splash at a marine park, which includes an impressive freshwater aquarium and a host of thrilling rides.

After the day's physical exertions, the ladies will enjoy a blissful evening of deep relaxation at sunset with a two-hour ‘Thalasso Aquatonic Spa Treatment’ at one Bali’s leading spa-resorts.

The adrenaline-filled day at the park concludes with dinner at the resort. (B, D)

DAY 3: MUMS ON THE LOOSE

Welcome to an all-mums’ day out!

Take the day off from playing parent and discover the intoxicating sights and sounds of Bali with all the other lovely mums (minus the kids!). As you set off on your Balinese outing, trained staff specialize in childcare will keep the kids SAFE and happily engaged with a range of activities at the resort’s exclusive Kid’s Club. The club consists of a well-equipped Entertainment Centre with a Waterslide, an Enchanted Garden and much more.

The day kicks off with individual sessions for all our diva mums with the legendary Balinese mystic and traditional healer, Ketut Liyer, (rumored to be anywhere between 84 to 100 years old!) who famously featured in Elizabeth Gilbert’s book ‘Eat, Pray, Love’. After this uplifting experience, we wind our way up to one of the lushest and most picturesque locales in Bali – Kintamani – where a 30,000-year-old volcanic eruption has created a massive and spectacular caldera. (The volcano last erupted in 2000, but it wasn’t a big one, thankfully.)

Continuing this exquisite day, we’d like to indulge you with a Balinese spa evening at an eclectic spa destination with tranquil massages, relaxing foot soaks, rejuvenating body wraps and refreshing facials that will leave you glowing from deep within. Mums and kids end the day together on a high note with dinner at one of Bali’s most stylish restaurants. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: WATER WONDERLAND

A day of ultimate water rides awaits us today. The action unfolds at one of Bali’s biggest water-theme parks. Children and mothers can let their hair down at the expansive landscaped tropical park, choc-a-bloc with amazing water slides and games. You could also set a more leisurely pace with a more tranquil ride on the tube raft, or simply plunge into one of the aquamarine pools for a relaxing swim. After this watery, playful, but frankly exhausting day, we will enjoy an early dinner at the resort. (B, D)

DAY 5: EAT, LOUNGE, SHOP

Today is a do-as-you-please-day. Spend time as you wish -- loll by the pool and read a book, sleep in, go shopping for souvenirs and gifts, get a massage, spend quality time with your child or explore Kuta. Whatever you do, whether it’s staying in or stepping out, do soak in the serene and happy Bali vibe. (B)

DAY 6: DIVINE DRAMA

Get ready to get blown away by Bali’s vibrant temple culture. After all, it is the ‘Land of a Thousand Temples’. After a relaxed morning, this afternoon, we visit one of the most other-worldly temples on the island. The Uluwatu Temple sits on top of a dramatically steep cliff and overlooks the Indian Ocean. Also known as the ‘Luhur Ulutawa’ or ‘something of divine origin’, the atmospheric temple is listed among the six most important ones in Bali.

Next, we will catch a live performance of ‘Kecak’, a popular Balinese dance-drama depicting a battle from the Ramayana. The flamboyant dance is a lavish audio-visual spectacle with striking costumes and theatrical Gamelan music. We celebrate the last night of our Bali odyssey with a seafood dinner at a beautiful beachside restaurant. (B, L, D)

DAY 7: SELAMAT JALAN OR ‘PEACE ON YOUR WAY’

This morning, say your goodbyes to all our new chums. Those who wish to head into town for some shopping may do so. Transfers to the airport will be available after checkout. Until the next time, of course! (B)
