Kuta Beach Reviews

Next day we left from Ubud to go to Kuta. This time we booked a bus service which takes 1-2 hours to reach Kuta depending on how many people they need to pick up on the way and traffic, and costs IDR 60,000 per person. At Kuta, we stayed at Balisani Padma hotel which was really good and 8-10 mins away from the Kuta beach. Kuta is crowded with tourists and there is always traffic jam. Hence we decided to walk around the place rather than renting a bike. Kuta beach is well known for surfing and you will see many trainers giving surfing lessons to kids and adults. If you want to shop or relax in a spa, then Kuta is the best place. There are a lot of spas with the massage prices ranging from IDR 60,000 to 150,000. There are also a lot of shops to buy clothes and souvenirs but you really need to bargain a lot to get a good deal.
Kuta Beach We walked quite a lot to reach this beach. However I would say its all worth it, this is one of the best beaches I have been to. The setting sun was giving a much needed contrast. The beach is very clean and you could see people enjoying Surfing. We clicked a lot of pics, but believe me the flamboyance of the beach can't be captured, it has to be witnessed. We decided to relax here and experience the sun set here. It would be a sunset i would not forget in this lifetime. Post that we decide to walk and explore the area, before heading for dinner at Ganesha. Day 4: We had our breakfast and checked out of the hotel. It was the day we were being transferred to our villa. Not before a full day of beach visits. Pandawa and Nusa Dua Beach
Third day was actually scheduled for Our favorite thing called Elephant Mud Bath fun. Like the name suggests you will get to feed, bath the elephant. Yes! The elephant. However because of small confusion our trip to Zoo was postponed to another day. But hey we utilised this day to shop and check out some Malls. We found Krisna Oleh Oleh which is good for any local items. We also tried Discovery Mall and Lippo Mall. Lippo Mall is happening than Discovery. Post this we went to Kuta Beach to Spend some beach time. We loved the beach and everything around. #Tip you will find some of the best pubs in Kuta area and also close to Kuta Beach. South Bali is considered to be the party place of Bali.
Surfing :If you've never tried surfing before, consider taking surfing lessons in Bali. It will be one of the most memorable activity of your trip. And meanwhile you will learn a new sport. Bali is a paradise for surfers. But that does not mean, the ones who is alien to Surfing should not enjoy this sport. Kuta Beach is the best place to learn to surf in Bali because the waves are quite small and manageable . So If you are on a Trip with your friends or a Solo Trip. Or even if you are on a honeymoon or with your family. Do not shy in indulging in this activity. You will love it when you catch your first wave. You will be really proud of yourself.
It was again a gruelling 1 hr 45 minutes journey back to Kuta, and our back was aching and the bums were burning due to long hours of sitting on the Scooty. Inspite of breaks, it does take a toll on your back and the bums! But its all worth in the end :D We ended our day with a nice candle light dinner near Legian Beach at a local warung relishing on the yummy Bebek Betutu and Nasi Goreng. We were so satisfied with our day’s visit and food, we must have slept so nicely that day! Day 4: We had decided the very famous Uluwatu Temple as our first destination for the day.
