Minimum budget trip of spiti valley:)

So we started our journey from chandigarh at 11 o clock at night for kullu and we reached kullu in the morning then we soend whole day in kullu and stayed in kullu for 1 night cause we have bus in next morning at 4 o clock

The we took bus from kullu bus stand as the last week of September the ticket seeler remind us to not to go to batal via kullu this is very dangerous we follow what we planed and took bus the road is very dramatic and quite lumpy and bumpy  and reached batal in the evening.and we meet chacha and chachi the owner of chandra dhaba which is the only shop in batal who gave us a small tent where stay that night and had rum from chacha to survive in freezing cold weather.  Remind everyone to take pills of mountain sickness because oxygen level decreases drastically and headaches are common there.

On this day firstly we try to find cabs for chandrataal but as they are too expensive and from batal to chandrataal not too far . Not more than 14 kms so we plan to go by treeking. As we started our trek the mighty nature amaze us with such a beautiful mountains without any vegetation and spiti river. We 5 enjoying the journey and clicking pictures of each other . As we cross the last mountainin 3-4 hours and the first view of chandrataal from distant is so amazing that we stop and start staring continuously. And then we ran into chandrataal lake saw beauty from our naked eyes and finalised no camera captures this beauty. 2 of us take a dip in holy lake . Water is freezing cold . We spend minimum 4 hours there and plan to go back to batal as we left our bags in uncle's tent .but dusk causes darker environment and nature shows their another face with heavy cold wind . No chance of going back without cab. So we go to  camps near lake and find a guy who's going to help us to go back to batal in his mini truck. We all lifted up in the back of his mini truck and enjoying the clear sky full of stars and heavy wind . We are scared too as the man is drunk and taking sip of old monk 😋 during driving . Finally we back to batal . Eating food and drinking monk help us to recover from cold weather and the heavy day.
            But we enjoyed the day. That's what matters !!
