1. Ramayana Cave
The moment you arrive you can witness a huge lord Hanuman sculpture. The first Batu Cave is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, a devotee of Lord Ram. The entrance fee is 5 Ringgit. After paying the entrance fee you can head right to cave, at the entrance you will notice an attractive horse sculpture made from brass.
Inside of Ramayana Cave consists of beautiful story and sculptures of Lord Ram and Hanuman. The story is narrated in Sanskrit.

2. Temple Cave
Temple Cave is next to the Cave Villa. You will be awestruck to see majestic statue of Lord Murugan and the 272 stair steps take you to the Temple Cave. When you are reaching at the Batu Cave, you will be first welcomed by the giant statue of Lord Murugan. The place is surrounded by sweets and souvenirs stalls. The entire Temple cave is a beautiful Hindu temple which gives divine vibes.
If you are tempted to eat the delicacies avoid visiting the places near to the front gate of the Murugan statue. You can hog in yummy Indian food at affordable price. The Temple cave is famous for the iconic statue of Lord Murugan.
It is mandatory for the female devotees to cover their chest and knees. You can rent a scarf at nearby stalls. Be prepared to witness some crazy monkeys on the steps. The majestic temple area has a divine shrine and prayer chambers. Temple Cave is famous to conduct annual Thaipusam Festival.

3. Dark Cave
The highlight and main attraction of Batu Caves is the Dark Cave. The cave is located just below the Temple Cave and is a natural cave. The place is crowded and it is advisable to book a guided tour to save time. 12-15 people can only visit the cave at a time, meanwhile, you can witness the panoramic view of Kuala Lumpur in the waiting area. You can also notice the stunning e Petronas Twin Towers; your camera has a lot to do while you wait for your turn.
The entire 850 m path can be little wet and slippery at times, make sure to take every step carefully. The Dark Cave has a broken roof and you can notice a little light falling into the cave. The cave has all kind of insects, snakes, bats, animals.

4. Cave Villa
The entrance of Cave Villa welcomes you with monkeys, avoid taking any food with you as they can get scary and violent at time. The alluring Cave Villa has a magnificent temple of Sri Venkatachalapathi & Alamelu Amman. The Brahmins are seen blessing the devotees.
The Cave Villa is an enclosed place with bunnies, iguanas and different bird species. The Cave Villa consists of a giant pool with big fishes too. The places offer you lot of learning about the Hindu culture, the walls are painted in pastel shades. The murals, beautiful sculptures give you an insight into the Hinduism.
The second cave has a beautiful koi pond surrounded with man made waterfalls. If you are interested in knowing more about the Hindu culture followed by Tamilians, this is a must visit place.
