Day 1

Summary - Inclusions Kuala lumpur, Kuala lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. It has everything a traveller needs, you are always surrounded by iconic landmarks historic & modern, both natural and manmade. It's a paradise for Shoppers and City life explorers. Below #itinerary is planned in a way that you save time , money while travelling without missing out on anything. #Hotels, #Transport #Restaurants are suggested below. Each and every cost mentioned below is incl. #food , #stay , #ticket, #fuel , #car . You can choose hotels as per your #budget. My suggestions are based on my budget for the given trip and given day.

1) Flight - Took a red eye flight from Kochi to reach Kuala Lumpur early in the morning. So, that we have an entire day to explore and rest equally. I got an amazing deal for this flight as I booked it way in advance. One-Way fare 3500/- . Note- If you look for fares without Check-in baggage your air fare drops drastically especially with AirAsia and Scoot Air.

2) Kuala Lumpur Airport to Hotel - Uber Ride - 65 MYR . When you are in KL use Uber for all your rides. It's the cheapest way to travel. Airport to Hotel 59Kms (50mins)

3) Check-in at Airbnb - 9AM - Regalia Suites & Residences is a high rise residential tower. However, most of the Apartments in the residential tower are converted in Airbnb's. I have been 3 times to Kuala Lumpur and I have always stayed in Regalia Suites but in different Airbnb apartments. The location of the hotel is perfect it is close to all tourist attractions, markets, night life. Everything is with 5-10mins. The best part about Regalia Suites is its Infinity pool on 40th Floor, The view of the entire city skyline is simply stunning. For this trip I had booked the below Airbnb , you can book it using the link below to get discount. We booked a 2BHK Apartment for 4 people per night at 1800/- i.e 900/- per couple per night. Chan - owner of this airbnb was also very helpful being in touch over phone since the time we landed in KL to our check out. https://www.airbnb.co.in/c/akashb176?referral_share_id=5fc24e2f-81c0-4bd5-8cdf-733e790b4d00

4) We slept for 3 hours as we had a very little or no sleep in the flight

5) Lunch - We got some bread and eggs from the 7-Eleven Store down stairs and made some omelettes.

6) Batu Caves - We decided to go to Batu Caves on the 1st day as this is the only attraction which is far from the hotel, rest all were in 5mins reach. Batu Caves is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples said to be around 400 million years old. There is a Lord Murugan temple in the cave and outside stands a 140 ft. tall statue. (Reached 1:30PM - 20kms - 30mins)

7) KL Bird Park -We went to a bird park which is a renowned eco-tourism destination. It is a 20 Acre bird park with 3,000 local and foreign birds of 200 different species (Reached 4:30PM - 20kms - 20mins) Entry fee - 63MYR
