A Must Do In Krabi, Thailand #TropicalVacay

& WE DID IT! Our first adventure activity together as a couple was in Krabi on our third anniversary in Nov'19. We Kayaked in the AndamanSea (Ao Thalane to be specific) for hours through the limestone caves and mangrove marshland. A MUST TRY experience for those who wish to explore and go beyond the usual 'sightseeing'. We had been in Thailand (Phuket to be specific) for 5 days already and were done visiting beaches and romancing the waves, so we jumped at the idea of couple Kayaking at once when we arrived in Krabi. It was challenging beyond words (more so for amateurs likes us), physically tiring and mentally taxing. Swollen muscle, severely sun burnt, aching body but a big accomplished smile and awakened senses is what it gifted us. What we experienced that day left us speechless and awestruck and we are pretty sure we would not have wanted to spend the day in any other way. "This activity is not suggested for honeymooners", our instructor said in zest. Sea kayaking can be difficult in several ways. Couples need to be in it together as a team to manoeuvre their way and survive through the challenging water and make it to the shore. We fought, we argued, we lost way, we agreed, we planned and we survived 😃! There were moments when we were exhausted rowing and all we did was just sit on the kayak, look around and soak in the silence of the sea and serenity of the surrounding. Can't explain how overwhelmed we were. It was our first ever kayaking adventure and we both were definitely not in our fittest best but this very fact multiplied our joy and reinforced our sense of accomplishment.
