Sindhis are an ethnic group native to the former Sindh province of India. Today Sindh is one of the four provinces of Pakistan. Large number of Sindhis are Muslims, while in India they are mostly Hindus, who also follow Sikhism.

Sindh Darbar Temple of Kozhikode is located near Sethu street. They worship all major Hindu Gods and follow the Sikh holy text Guru Granth Sahib. Jhulelal, an incarnation of Lord Varuna (God of seas) is their main deity. They have a rich maritime history and it is believed that Jhulelal would protect them, and prevent untoward incidents.

Do make a plan to learn about this micro minority community.
