Muchukunnu is a heritage village situated on the bank of Akalappuzha, near Koyilandy, Kozhikode. Muchukunnu artisans and weavers are known throughout the state for their potteries, bell metal works, screw pine weaving and Khadi.
The famous Kottayil Siva Kshethram is situated here, and the grove adjacent to the temple- Kottayil Kavu is one among the 22 remaining Virgin Forests of Kerala. The diversity of flora and fauna here is a sight to behold. Do make a plan to visit this place.
