Visited Dakshineshwar Kali Mandir early in the morning. Built in the year 1855 by Rani Rashmoni, a philanthropist and a devotee.
The view of the Vivekananda Setu or the Bally bridge is amazing. Built in 1930, its been 91 years and it still stands tall.

Visited early morning to avoid the crowd but the temple and Ganga ghat are so magnetic that people are there no matter the time of the day, the season, the weather or the pandemic.

Nothing like the scenic morning at Ganga ghat. No matter how rich or poor you are, the Ganges welcomes you with open arms. The soothing river wind, the serene Kolkata morning and the crowd, this sums up a perfect start of the day.
