Solo Spiritual Trip to Kolkata & Deoghar, Jharkhand.. Feb 27th to 29th 2020

Finally planned a trip to one of the 18th Shaktipeeth - Shrunkala Devi/ Hangseshwari Mata @ Kolkata, WB and one of the 12th Jyotirling - Baba Baidyanath Temple @ Deoghar, Jharkhand.

It was Thursday early morning, reached Hyderabad international airport 🛂 to catch the flight ✈ to Kolkata @ 6 AM. Reached Kolkata by 8.30 AM and booked Ola Rentals for 10 Hrs 120 Kms to visit the places in Kolkata. First, I left to Hangseshwari Mata Temple @ Hoogly. Actually, Shrunkala Devi is one of the 18th Shaktipeeth located in Pradyuman in Bengal. But, it was ruined by the Mughals during that time and couldn't find anything expect the Temple door which is closed.. Most of the people in the village say that Hangseshwari Mata Temple is built in place of this Shaktipeeth in the nearby village. The Temple architecture was unique and hardly could find people in the Temple. Took Mata blessings 🙏 and I'm on my way back to Kolkata to visit other places..

Reached Dakshineshwar Kali Mata Temple around 12 PM which is near to Howrah.. The temple is fully crowded with a tight security. Bags, phone, cameras are not allowed inside the temple. Took Saree and Shringaar items in the nearby stall which costed 500 rupees and finally entered the temple for Mata darshan.. Devotees are allowed from the Main Dwar and side Dwars as well.. As I'm not aware, I took the side Dwar and could see Mata from side.. I decided to come next day early morning for Mukh Dwar darshan. Came out of the temple and left to Kalighat temple, it was 1.45 PM by the time I reached the temple.. The Pandits at the gate are literally back of me saying they will take me inside for quick darshan.... As the temple will be closed by 2 PM, I had to rely on them and went inside for Darshan.. The Pandits are very commercial and they started demanding for money. I had to give 600 rupees... Please be beware of these Pandits 🧐... Had Mata darshan and moved to other places in Ola Cab 🚕.

The Ola driver took me to other places like Howrah Bridge, New Bridge, Victoria Memorial, Birla Mandir, New Town.... On the way he pointed out few of the important places while driving like the Army HQ, BSF HQ, Science City, Eco Park.. Finally, by 4.30 PM the Ola driver dropped me at the Hotel🏨 that I booked near the Airport Zone.. Checked in the hotel and ordered some food and Tea and slept till 9 PM... Got up and was busy with phone... As you all know phone📱is the best timepass.... 😉

Finally, I went to sleep at 11.30 PM and ended the day as planned.. 🙂👍

Quickly got ready and checked out the hotel by 5 AM and booked an Ola cab 🚕 and left to Dakshineshwar Kali Mata Temple for Mukh Darshan.. Deposited the luggage and phone in the counters and entered into the Temple.. I was the 6th person in the queue waiting at the Mukh Dwar for Mata Darshan. The Mukh Dwar was opened at 6.30 AM and I had a happy darshan and was blessed to see Mata from nearby..

After darshan quickly moved to Howrah railway station to board Poorva Express train 🚂🚋 scheduled @ 8 AM. Reached the station and came to know that the train was late 2 Hrs 30 min... I waited in the AC waiting hall till the train arrival time 🕒. Boarded the train🚂🚋 at 10.35 AM and got down at Jaisidh station by 3.30 PM.. Deposited the luggage in the Cloak room as I need to catch the return train on the same day.. Please take small lock 🔐as they accept the luggage only if it has lock.. I need to visit the nearby market to purchase the lock🔐. Had a quick fresh up in the Premier lounge in the station and left to temple by an Auto...

Baba Baidyanath temple 🙏 is one of the 12th Jyotirling in India and Lord Shiva iw worshipped here.. The uniqueness of this temple is Mata Parvathi temple is situated opposite to Lord Shiva temple and a red long thread is tied between these two gopurams known as Ghatbandan and the idols are worshipped with Jal and 🌸.

The temple is very crowded and took a VIP ticket which costed Rs. 250 and with the help of Pandit went inside the temple and had a quick darshan 🙏.. Offerred Jal, flowers and sweet to Lord Shiva and tied Ghatbandan between Lord Shiva and Mata Parvathi with the help of Pandit. Did quick darshan in other temples located within temple. I could feel good vibes within the temple ☺.. It was 5.15 PM by the time I'm out of the Temple.

After darshan, had paneer partha at the nearby restaurant and took an auto to reach Basukinath temple which has a similar architecture like Baba Baidyanath Temple. Lord Shiva and Mata Parvathi are worshipped in Basukinath Temple which is one of the famous Temple in Jharkhand. By 7.30 PM I reached the Temple and had a quick darshan and returned back to the station in the same auto.. It was 9.30 PM by the time I reached the station. The best part is Jaisidh station has AC premier lounges with Sofas and Recycliner available for the travellers. Sofa is costing 30 rupees per hour and Recycliner costed rupees 50 per hour. I booked Recycliner for 3 hours as my train 🚂🚋 Kol Garibrath is at 12.20 AM. The station had a changing room as well... Quickly freshened up and took rest till the train arrival time. The train is on time, boarded the train and I'm so tired 😞 I fell asleep 💤👀 immediately and got up at 5 AM after the train stopped at the destination stop Kolkata.

Took an auto to Netaji Subash Chandra Bose International Airport and reached the Airport by 6 AM... As my flight 🛩 is scheduled at 9 AM, I took rest in the Airport Lounge, had breakfast and relaxed for sometime.. Finally at 8.40 AM boarded the flight and reached Hyderabad Airport by 11.30mPM... My husband 🥰 came to pick me and finally reached home with lot of memories... Im happy and blessed to complete the trip successfully ☺☺🙏
