So I planned to go for a solo trip as a volunteer for Zostel and it just happened. With all the vulnerability I had in mind about staying away for a whole month and managing my life, expenses and what not . To which my boyfriend acknowledged me and pushed me forward for it saying if not today it won't happen again, his words " You can do it , it'll be a hell of an experience" and well it was. I couldn't have been more grateful for the luck I had and the managers I had. And all different types of people I met there, the memories, the places I visited, the food I had , and yes meeting Vijay Sethupati . I would say that I'm proud of this trip I had, and the friends I made . It did make me more adjusting to things and did change my outlook towards different types of people I met. It made me okay. And being ok is not sacrificing , that's what I've learnt. And the places I went ! Oh my my. It was like being in one of Ruskin Bond's books
From the pine forest to the manavanur lake to kookal village !
I've loved walking over the town at 7 am in the morning and at 2 am in the night!
People were scared of the bison but I did try to go near one and it didn't do anything! Wonder why people are scared 😨.
Rounding up I would recommend every person under 25 years of age to take atleast one solo trip and explore their idiocyncrasies to their skills they're unaware about!
This was my #precovid trip !
