Ride few kilometres ahead of aamby valley from right of korigad, and you enter into beautiful landscapes.
I went there on bike with my friend.
There is a 15 min. road patch which goes through forest and the road that day was in worst condition. I was trying hard not to skid and there was little fear growing in mind of being in forest.
But it's just small patch. Then after riding for almost an hour, we saw a small hotel just alongside road in aaherwadi. It was Aarohi hotel and the lady there served tasty chicken and bhakri. Then after riding for more 45 min we reached tamhini ghat road.
You see so many beautiful landscapes on the way. Then took left towards garudmachi. Tamhini ghat is pleasing ride but it's dangerous too. We took right from gold valley and entered towards kundalika rafting point. Now it was almost 6 pm near rawalje village and suddenly there thunderstorms and it started raining heavily.
We were not prepared for rain as it was November but villagers say here it generally rains till November. We were almost stuck in rawalje. Heavy rain, thunderstorms and pitch dark around us gave a horror feel. But now we had to ride only 20 km till pali which is safe place to stay. So we made our mind and started riding at 30-40 speed. We could only see 20 25 meters ahead. We use to get more panic when some sign board with ' savdhan ' would paas by. Then finally reached pali, then after taking pali durshet road which is again nice road for weekend ride we reached Khopoli and then Khopoli to our home.
