Day 1
A Sunday in Kochi. Overtaking the long queue of cars and bikes awaiting the arrival of the Jungar (the big boat that transports vehicles and people by by sea), we reached the shore of the vypin backwaters. There you see the rise and set of the huge beautiful Chinese fishing nets alined one by one. If you get a big school of fish, you call it chaakara.. This place if you ask me what do we do?, I would be glad to say I don't but what I do is to open my eyes and just run my eyes across the never ending sea.. Be it a sunny day or monsoon time, the cold breeze at the beach will never die.. Happiness is when you see fishes jumping for life over the blue nets or when you see tiny crabs scaring small kids by running behind them.. All you need to do in your busy scheduled life is to go there, stand with an amul mangobar on one hand and your phone in silent mode in the other just to take photos of the old gen fishermen, they will give you the ultimate poses for your photos cos they love it :). An evening well spent..
