Day 1
Palakkad, the granary of Kerala is blessed with green paddy fields and palm trees. Spending some time through the villages turning ourselves viridescent is beyond words.
We stayed in a homestay, which is actually an old house 'Mankav Kalam'. It is located in the midst of paddy fields .
Day 2
Next we went to a small beautiful railway station near to the Tamil Nadu border.
On the way to homestay, at Kollengode, we could see lush green paddy fields on both sides of road. Also,a clear distant view of Nelliyampathy Hills.
