We had gone on a family trip to Bangalore during the onam holidays. There were four of us, I and my husband and his parents. Since it was a road trip from South of kerala, we had booked two rooms for 5N4Ds via oyo at a hotel in Indiranagar. When we reached there, we were told there's no booking in our name. The stalled us for an hour. We were hungry and had bought parcel but due to the delay in getting our rooms we still remained hungry. During this stalled one hour, we saw a lady in red lipstick and revealing clothes, who was smoking a cigarette leaving from upstairs. At that time, they said since we said we'll arrive early they put us in the checked in list. After so much hassle, finally we were given our rooms. My in laws room was clean and ok. But in our room, the bedsheets were slightly crumpled and there were fresh stains on the sheets. There were dirty footprints in the bathroom floor too. I do think that before allotting rooms, they do clean the bathroom and change sheets right? That too in a city like Banglore? Continuing on to the story.. we stayed there for a night, after asking them to clean up and change sheets, and left the next day for sightseeing and came back by 3pm. At that time, they were insisting that we pay and leave. We were stunned. We were supposed to stay for few more days! They said our booking had accidentally given this hotel and its no more in the same place. The oyo app also changed our hotel to some local cheap one. We were totally stunned as to what to do. We had a Parkinson's patient with us who's my father in law . We asked them to give is some time to pack and book another hotel, but they insisted we leave immediately. Even after begging them to give is an hour to pack and book another place, they didn't relent. And as we were leaving, we saw another lady in a similar attire as the one yesterday entering. Well, you can guess what kind of business that hotel is conducting. Anyway, we found a better place to stay. But we won't forget how we were treated in that hotel at indiranagar.
