Munnar - of Teas and Twists

On the way, we found a pretty elephant names "Lakshmi". She showed us so many reactions and she was happy eating the whole pineapple and bunch of bananas. Well, you are in Kerala and you dont get to see an elephant is sad story.

Then we geared up ourselves to reach Munnar hill station. On the way, we saw full of tea scenes, full of greens with cold breeze. Wow what a journey!

We did a bit of trekking, we put a full one round to the hill station view. We were like we will go in the every way we see here and trust me, we were not tired, thinking of having hot pakodas, with spice tea after the trek is done :) Motivation ahead!

We did a few of photo shoots there, we also met a few Russian family doing a similar things like us and we got a below picture of us.

We walked a lot, sat a bit, had fun a lots! We also met a group of childrens who had come as school trip. We had lots of fun, they wanted a picture. Look at their swag!

In the evening time, we finished a small trek and we are in Munnar. Why not a try of spice tea with hot pakodas and Maggi may be?

The tea shop reminded me a days of my school trips with very tasty snacks. The shop has total of 28 spice tea and hot snacks which is famous in kerala.

We had several talks with shopkeeper, he told us few stories, we told him few stories and said him "Good bye". On the way to the hotel , we thought having dinner. The only thing i had that night was on full fish fry. The sea food in kerala is a MUST.

With our stomach full, we went to sleep, planning our Day 2 trip.

Day 2 started with places to visit like Mattupetty Dam, the whole lake, and dam view was a beautiful experience, we did a speed boating in the same lake and enjoyed the view to the fullest.

Then we went to Echo point , Munnar, many moview are shot there and no doubt it has a beautiful scenary. People say if we call a name with one side, the echo will hear in another side, that is why , it is called has Echo Point. The place near echo point has a tall and beautiful Eucalyptus trees. I gave a nice hug to trees, spent some time with the nature , gave a mind a relaxed mode!

Then we visited a TATA museum to see the real beauty of Tea production. The initial stage of Kannan devan tea production, the whole museum with full of good old stories. Got knowledge of tea usage from the experts and bought tea leaves, spices pack etc.

We came back to hotel to pack our bags because we had our bus booked back to Bangalore. Reserving it for later, we got into bus and literally had Munnar dreams while coming back :p
