Waking up amidst Nature's Paradise As I stepped out of my cozy cottage, the cool, crisp mountain air of Munnar embraced me, instantly rejuvenating my senses. The day began with a visit to the stunning Eravikulam National Park, where I witnessed the spellbinding sight of endangered Nilgiri Tahr gracefully traversing the rolling hills. The park also offers a serene trek providing panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and cascading waterfalls.
Exploring the Tea Gardens Munnar's tea estates are renowned worldwide for their aromatic brew. We embarked on an invigorating stroll through the enchanting tea plantations, learning about the intricate process of tea production. Don't forget to visit the Tata Tea Museum, an enlightening experience showcasing the evolution of tea cultivation in the region. The panoramic views from the top of the museum are simply awe-inspiring.
No visit to Munnar would be complete without conquering Anamudi Peak. As the highest peak in South India, its summit offers awe-inspiring views of the Western Ghats, carpeted in verdant forests. The trek to the top tested our endurance, but reaching the summit was an accomplishment worth cherishing.
