"Queen of Arabian Sea" - Kochi is a bustling city on the western coast of India. With an empty canvas we visited Kochi. As they say a blank canvas has unlimited possibilities let's explore Kochi and complete the painting.
When you land in Kochi, the airport will indeed take your breath away with it's beauty and cleanliness.
As we landed in the evening, we went to the famous Lulu Mall to explore the mall culture of kochi and get the local essence of the place.
Started our journey towards Fort Kochi, from Edapally. On both side of the road for a long stretch was the backwaters, which in itself was quite fascinating.
We hired two wheelers in Fort Kochi, to explore the place at our own convenience. Kochi can undoubtedly be one of the cleanest city We have been to, and that's why the ride around was even more pleasing.
Dutch Palace:- All over Fort Kochi, the mark of colonial rule is quite evident, and this is one of the many example of it. The place gives vivid description of Indian history and the Dutch rule.
Santa Cruz Catherdral Basilica:- There are lot of churches in fort Kochi and this one was one of them and a very pretty one indeed.
On our way around Fort Kochi there are small restaurants that serve amazing seafood that every seafood lover will crave for.
Fort Kochi Sea Beach:- The Kochi trip ended with sitting by the beach and reminiscing the entire two day short trip and munching on some Kerala street food.
So, our blank canvas was painted with the pristine beauty of Kochi. We look back at it with a big smile 😄.
