FT1-Meghalaya and Assam(Kaziranga)

The fun started from Guwahati to cover Kaziranga and then explore Meghalaya. Upon reaching Guwahati, headed to Kaziranga to reach Kaziranga central range by evening.

Day 1

Kaziranga National Park

Stay at T G Resort, Kaziranga.

Early morning elephant safari in Kaziranga western range, then Jeep safari around afternoon post lunch in Kaziranga central range. Ended the day with awesome Assamese tribes cultural show at Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park.

Day 2

Umiam Lake

Headed to Shillong, en route visited Umiam Lake.

Laitlum Grand Canyon

Around evening visited Laitlum Grand Canyon, which gave many breathtaking views.

End of the day - Stay at The Eee Cee Hotel , Shillong.

Day 3

Mawlynnong

Day 3 started bit early with a long ride to Living root bridge, View point at Mawlynnong then to the cleanest village of Asia.

Dawki

The river is fascinating with clean green/blue waters with mesmerising mountains behind.

Krang Shuri Waterfall

Then finally ended the day with a refreshing view of Krang Shuri falls

Day 4

Double Root Bridge

Day 4 started with a drive from shilong to Surok Tyrna. Then 3km trekking down through properly constructed stairs to reach the beauty.

End of the day, stay at Heritage Lodge, Cherrapunjee.

Day 5

Cherrapunjee

Last day headed to Guwahati by covering all the remaining places like Eco park at Cherrapunjee, Shillong Peak, Elephant falls.

Reached Guwahati by evening and lost into sleep with all memories gathered during last few days. Headed to place of origin on next day with darshan and blessing of Maa Kamakhya.
