The evening we stayed in our resort which was in between the Hatikhuli tea estate. The moonlit night and the calm quite jungle atmosphere ,the continuous sounds of crickets and sudden growls of some nocturnal birds gave us an awful adventures night in the wood.

Day 2

The day started with  shocking sound from a greater hornbill which sat on the open window of our room. It is told that morning shows the day, so we were too exited for the first part of the jungle safari. In its nothing but the elephant safari in to the open grass land. Each elephant carried four of us in its back with his master or mahut. It's a thrilling life long experience when you got upon the big guy. It started his journey, the name of our elephant was Dambar. At first he started slowly and we felt we were in a roller coaster ride. After some time we accustomed ourselves with the "upar niche agge piche ,up and down round and round" movement and started taking the advantages of the ride.

Dambar took us in to the open grass land where there are numerous deers grazing hare and thare. Don't lough, first time I though they are goats. So close in the open field .....That you can't believe.  We encounter a dozen of rhinos. After half an hour gajraaj took us into the same place by a narrow lane like walk way through a dense forest from where it started.

We returned to our resort and took our breakfast and started our journey for another interesting ride i.e. open jeep safari at the buffer area of the forest. We got two four wheel drive gypsy and put  ourselves into it. We started with different kinds of herons and swamp dear. Suddenly our driver stopped our car and spoted  a hard of white fronted goose who taking their morning nap in a muddy field. Then we got a lonely pelican , one curious fish eagle and so many birds.  We saw a hard of wild Buffalos grazing  in the muddy grass field. In the way now and then rhinos came across in our path, some monkeies thoughts us how to itch, a jungle fowl flown like an arrow before clicking my camera. A sudden break of the cars and our hearts in the hand ...A wild elephant stood just in front of us,but it disappeared with quick movement. We all got so surprised that we forgot to click it. But the best part was the turtles in wood in a small river who came out for sunshine. We finished our best trip ever in a muddy off road with some best picture in our cameras and some un erasable video  stored in the mind shooter through our most powerful camera ....our eyes.
