Planning a Quick Trip To The Hills? This Lesser-known Hill Station Deserves Your Attention!

Its all the little moments that make trips like these a big adventure. Recently I made an epic road trip from Haldwani to Kausani with few of my friends. Although it was a short road trip but it was full of beautiful experiences.

You know the feeling when you've been riding for the whole day in order to reach your main destination and to not miss the sunset? Well, this was one of those feelings. We were lucky to arrive at this location a couple of hours before sunset.

As luck would have it the sun filled the sky and the Himalayas with its colours and it seemed so magical.I was chilled to the bone as it was so cold, could barely use my hands because of the long ride,but as we made it there on time,it gave us enough time to capture and witness this heavenly sunset.

Along with many experiences like camping at random places, cooking our own food, stargazing late night in the cold we also saw a panoramic view of the massive Himalayan Peaks(at night) such as Trishul, Nanda Devi, and the mighty Panchachuli peaks. Kausani is famous for the

There were stunning panoramic view of these peaks. We also woke up to one of the best sunrises of my life. I wanted to do this short road trip since ages and finally got a chance. I visited Kausani in the month of November along with my few friends. The reason we chose November is because November is the beginning of the winter season so the weather is cooler and the views are much more vibrant and its a good month for both sunrises and sunsets and we were lucky enough to see both of them at their best. 

Both sunrise and sunset were so beautiful that I won't be forgetting them anytime soon.
