Nepal is considered one of the best places for white water rafting, with the Bhote Koshi river experience considered the best. Bhote Koshi is the steepest river rafted in Nepal, and also considered the wildest. It is a perfect choice for rafting enthusiasts as well as other adventure seekers alike. It provides a roller-coaster ride along challenging steep, direct drop rapids at the top and calmer waters as you move lower. The rapids here range from class IV-V at high flow, and III at lower levels. The rafting point at Bhote Koshi lies close to the Nepal-Tibet (Nepal-China) border and is approximately 3 hours' drive from the capital city of Kathmandu.
Paragliding is one of the must-do activities in Nepal, especially while at Pokhara. Paragliding in Nepal provides high adrenaline fun with the stunning view of the Himalayan range. The activity can be undertaken solely if a professional license holder and with a professional partner in a tandem flight for other normal travelers. We offer several Paragliding packages as per the guest's interest such as Cloud Buster, Cross Country, Acrobatic Flying, etc. Also, Parahawking, a term referred to as Paragliding along with the trained birds of prey such as hawks and vultures, is a special experience to be had.
Nepal’s first bungee jumping site which is considered as one of the best bungee jumping destination in the world located near the Nepal-China border in central Nepal offers a 160 m jump overlooking the Bhote Koshi gorge. It is less than 3 hours outside of the Kathmandu valley. The jump takes place from one of the highest suspension footbridge and the 7th highest bungee point in the world. It has arguably one of the longest free falls in the world. These facts are only enhanced by the country's steepest river, Bhote Koshi, flowing below and the beautiful view of the surrounding forests. This brief adrenaline pumping feat in a country known for its excellent, but long trekking routes makes it a unique experience all together.
