Kasol: A Jampot of Summertime Stories

Away from our cubic farms, its a whole world out there to explore. And one April morning some genuine god heard all my prayers and struck a lightning through my head telling me I deserved a beautiful getaway! We are all one in our need and greed and often we (peeps from Delhi) end up visiting same old places, telling same old stories. I was a little apprehensive about the fact that there aren't many new things to do in Kasol because it has often been deemed as repeated and exploited destination, but I trusted my dragonfly eyes to see something new and took the godforsaken HRTC bus.

Here are some summertime stories from Kasol, photographs from all corners of the town as I abused a camera for two days running in circles, overjoyed indulging in exciting yet lesser known things to do in Kasol

1. Of Apple Orchards and Serenity

When the morning light made me discover, what surrounded me and I had itchy feet to explore more.

2. Of Riverside Musings And Morning Sun

This gushing Parvati river has something for all of us. A river bank to muse by and cold water to wake up your toes is one of the best things to do in Kasol.

A hot water spring on one side and cold water chill on the other. This is where all the madness of the town comes from.

...And then you find some camera-ready friends.

3. Of Quaint Houses and Delightful Eateries

Just so you know. This is a house full of beautiful bookshelves.

God came down one day and placed this red-bricked house where it is.

Wait for the Israeli food frenzy to take over and relish. Did I tell you cafe hopping is one of the unmissable things to do in Kasol?

Sepia-tinted cafes. Isn't that something we all dream about?

4. Of The Trip and The Trippy

And ofcourse. Kasol gives you a trip of a lifetime.

The whole town is a canvas waiting for your mad soul to throw some colors.

5. Of Silent Midnight and Pancakes

You go blind with joy when you watch french crepes being prepared for you.

Snickers for dinner. Every lazy person's dream.
