Day 1

The best way to cherish your life is solo travelling. Solo trips are always helpful in making you realize your strengths and weaknesses. It was exhilirating for me to visit these places, The beatiful Parvati Valley. I reached Bhunter by 7 am from kashmere gate bus terminal New Delhi. Since I was short of money, time and I really wanted to have some adventure, I marched alongside the river(upstream) envying the beauty of the place. It was heavenly, taking in the fresh air and the sprinkle of river water over my face. I continuously walked for 3 hours which was tiring. I stopped at a place smoked some nature(if you know what I mean) had some bananas and oranges.(enjoying the view of river and the sound of water striking the stones) I would suggest if you are trekking you should eat fruits and carry a bottle. It was self satisfying for me to trek for 4 hours to reach kasol which gave me a positive thought about myself that I can conquer whatever difficulties I will face. I strongly recommend not to litter plastics and other non biodegradable materials since this place is so pure that it will be really depressing to see plastics spread all over the place. Anyways, KASOL, heaven on earth. Stopping by a cafe for a ginger honey tea beside the river and a sandwich is the best way you can enjoy the beauty of that place. Looking at the high mountains covered with snow was my destination(Tosh). I was carrying a bag which I dropped at a hotel(very cheap). Visiting these places means you should have adventure rather than staying at a luxurious hotel because you can find luxury in towns too so why visit this place. Enjoy the hardship you go through I must say it will give you goosebumps afterwards.I didn't stop because the more I was looking at the huge mountains the more I was excited to conquer it. It took me another 40-45 minutes to reach manikaran. This place was over populated but enjoying the hot spring was worth visiting. Next destination was Bharsini. It took me another 4 hour walk to reach Bharsaini. Stopping many a times because I was loving it. Took a cab from Bharsaini I reached Tosh. Woooah. What I wanted to see was right infront of my eyes. It was covered with snow. Walking on the snow was really exciting for me since I never did see actual snow. Slithering on the snow was so exciting for me. I stayed in tosh for two to three hours. And enjoyed the view of huge mountains covered all with white bedsheet of snow. It was self satisfying for me. I wanted to stay in tosh but since I was in short of time I went back to kasol sharing a cab by two more people. Meeting new people was not my aim understanding them was. I took my small bag in which I carried some stuff of instant use. I moved out of the room where I kept my bag. I took my sleeping bag along with me. Wandering around kasol. I saw a natural bathtub.( the flow of water broke the stones making it as a bathtub) and guess what it was a hot water spring. I wasn't able to wait. Took of my clothes and went in. Woooah mentioning this experience is actually making me feel fresh. I was gazing at the clear sky covered all with stars. Listening to the birds chirping around in the morning was so satisfying as if I conquered everything.
