The thought to search heaven inspires me alot and i find it whenever am lost in landscapes and nature. Nature is our real friend and always welcomes us to explore ourselves.
Asusual, its another busy week in my office and i want to escape. Here comes a destination to my mind where i can find peace - it's Kasauli. In next five minutes train tickets were booked for coming weekend and hotel booking was done too to save time.
We boarded train at 5.30 from Delhi and reached Kalka around 11.30 am. We took a local bus from nearby bus stop and reached Kasauli Chowk. You can easily get buses for Kasauli from this place or you can hire a taxi too. We reached our hotel - Kasauli inn at 12.30 and checked in there.
We were ready by 1.30 and started our journey from lower mall. Kasauli might be a hill station for everyone but for a traveller - it's a paradise. When you travel from Kalka to Kasauli the beautiful mountains around you will make you speechless and you will be lost in scenic beauty.
You can visit Church at lower mall and must try momos served by tibetan food corner in lower mall market. You can head towards monkey point which is believed to be a sacred destination for localities. We walked towards our next destination i.e. sunset point which is another popular destination in Kasauli. Beautiful path and peace all around is what you get at Kasauli and you will be mesmerised by the beauty of nature.
Gilbert's Nature Walk - after visiting sunset point, another destination for you is Gilbert's trail and is a must visit if you're planning to visit Kasauli. Narrow path which goes towards famous suicide point of Kasauli is beautiful and a motivation for travellers who love trekking. After trekking for an hour, we came back to lower mall and tried local cusinie - samosa burger. We had some snacks and headed back towards our hotel.
Next destination was Gurudwara at Kemughat near our hotel and we had our dinner at nearby food joint. Our hotel gave us party tickets for DJ night at their rooftop restaraunt which was followed by headphones party. Next morning at 8 am we checked out and headed towards Chandigarh which was our next destination.
Kasauli is a beautiful place where you will meet very friendly and welcoming people who will help you alot to visit and explore the place. If you're a solo traveller, destination is perfect for you. You should use local transport here and enjoy local music while travelling. Place is an adventure for an adventurer while it's a paradise for a traveller. You will get peace here and you will fall in love with this beautiful place once you visit there.
