I never claimed myself as a Traveler till date, but the recent trip of mine made me to share this with the fellow travelers so that the somewhere the wanderlust inside me gets satisfied. Be it " The dense forest" or "The deep plantations", "Yummy sea food at the blue beaches or the calm back waters"...!!!! Most of us love these... But when you really want to experience all these at one place, #MANGALORE would be the best option.

The journey from the western ghats to the west coast was my best this year. I took bus from Bangalore to Dharmasthala and reached my friend's home at Mundaje (A beautiful village near Charmadi Ghat). I had to finish my work there and started driving to Udupi. (You can directly take a train till udupi which makes the trip completely under budget)

Day o1:

Heading downwards to the coastal area, the blue beaches of Mangalore and Udupi welcomes you with their pleasant tides & sunset views. One of these beaches which is located at #Kaup needs a special mention because of its ancient light house which is built in 1901. You get some fresh fishes to eat at this beach. From here, we have been to the sea walk of Malpe beach which was one of the major attractions of the day. This is the best place for walk in the evenings. You get many beach cottages under budget. (We have booked one for 1000 inr at AirBnB as it is far from the urban beaches) The beach is very near to the cottage and so pleasant and isolated from the crowd. We were there by the evening and had some nice beers :P and yummy food for the dinner.

Day 02:

Apart from the famous temples in Udupi, there are much more places to visit and #Deltapoint near Malpe is one among those. We woke up around 6 AM and went and sat at the beach for some cool breeze and started driving to the delta point and were in love with the place completely, As we en route to this place, we come across the thousands of coconut trees with beach on one side and river on the other side. It was a pure bliss to watch the drizzle all the way and finally when you reach the end point we can see the river meeting into the ocean. On the way, we found a cool restaurant which has some good ambiance and beach view. We had our lunch and of course clicked some best pics. There are many other interesting places like Hanging bridge which is constructed on a backwater, St mary Islands and boat house etc. (Opens in Mid of September)

We drove back to "#charmadighat" which is one of the dense forests in the western ghats with some best view points all the way and couple of waterfalls on the sides. The drive was amazing with some great weather and hot snacks on the top. We reached back to my friends home and started back to bangalore on the second day night. On whole, it was a best trip and made me to fall in love with this mountains and beaches. You guys can made it in a budget of 2500 to 3000 when you people travel in train from Bangalore and hire some local vehicles to roam over there.
