Yes, finally i moved out and it felt like freedom from the four walls of our homes after so long. Sure, life is not same out there, its different, the world is different. It is more beautiful, calm, peaceful, less crowd, pure air, healed nature.
FYI: Tourism in Karnataka has opened, and we are free to roam in and around Karnataka only without e-pass. If you want to travel cities like Mangalore, Udupi, Madikeri, Hampi, Hubli and few more you need e-pass and a prior 7 days COVID test negative medical report.
So this time, I chose a destination which is just 80 kms from Bangalore (1 hour drive)
Location: Berigai Hill home
Berikai/Berigai is a small town in Tamil Nadu, India, located in Hosur taluk, Krishnagiri district. It is 18 kilometres northwest of Sarjapura, Bangalore, and 34 kilometres east of Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh.
So, we took the routes via Sarjapura and no cops stopped us for e-pass. If you are visiting through Electronic city,Bangalore, you have to show e-pass to enter Tamil Nadu.
And I am glad I chose this place, its magical. If your idea of vacation is travel less to reach a great place, beautiful house, no disturbance at all, awesome food, just relax and lost in nature, landscape pictures, then this is the place.
This thoughtful place touches extraordinary hospitality offered by the host Siva. The place has everything you want to spend weekend gateway from the city.
1. Mezzanine floor concept is unique and adventurous.
2. The house also has small Bose speakers which added flavor to our stay.
3. The morning sunrise you cant afford to miss from mezzanine floor aided by calm breeze.
4. The "attached but open" bathroom combined a touch of modernity and the feeling of being out in the open, underneath the stars or blue skies. A real one of a kind experience.
Also, to mention the caretaker made hot and delicious food anytime and every-time we asked him too.
All in all, the stay has been quite lovely and will definitely be going back there again to escape the hum drum of city life. Posting few pictures for reference.
