My most adventurous, full of surprises, memorable and low budget trip.
1st day: Reach Udupi, stay with relatives (it helped us to make more low budget trip, food and stay)
- visited St. Mary's Island
- nearby temple
- total cost of the day 227/pp (food and auto), 250/- for jet ski.
2nd day: left for Murudeshwara and Unchalli Falls
- total cost of the day 968/pp (food, water and train/car/auto)
2nd day night stay on Kudle Beach 1000/- one cottage for two people
3rd day:
- spent entire day on Kudle Beach
- did water sports
- visited Mahabaleshwar temple in Gokarna
- and window shopping in Gokarna market
4th day:
- visited Om Beach
- ferry to heaven's beach and dolphin safari
- more water sports
- packed our bags and left for Mumbai
Its beautiful island and kind of heaven on earth. Crystal clear water , beach is full of sea shells and great big basaltic rocks. If you go to udupi you wouldn't miss this one.
Murudeshwar is famous for the world's second-tallest Shiva statue. Murudeshwar beach is beautiful but little crowded
Kudle beach is not directly accessible by road so you will have to either walk from Gokarna or from Om beach. Kudle is again long stretch of thin sand with fewer rocks on the shore. Still better and less dangerous place to swim plus less crowded.
