On the way to Rama Bhajane Mandira, Kola, One can ride on a road that has sea on one side and back water on the other! It looks pretty much like an Island. In the backwaters, you can see small row boats and people mining sand from underneath the water.
Took a bus from Bengaluru to Manipal, Mangaluru. Booked a Hotel (Royal lodge) and finished off the daily routines. Then rented a bike at Manipal (Indiarides) and started from Manipal to Suratkal Via Udupi. It's a highway surrounded by greenery.
On the way back from NITK beach, we can reach this spot after riding for 20 min from Karavali Junction- Udupi, Towards Malpe beach and forward.
After spending pleasant time at Rama bhajane mandira and surroundings, on the way back to Udupi, Before reaching the same Karavali junction, here is a famous beach. Malpe beach! It is a place where one can see lot of crowd, boats both fishing and ferrying people, speed boats and jet-ski, what not! Also schools take their students to excursion here. It's a great place to spend time.
After spending ample amount of time here, On the way back to Manipal, comes Udupi, visit the place and temples. Go back to Manipal and rest for the day with the peacefulness after temple visit.
The day next, with a friend to ride with, left Manipal to Agumbe sunset View point. Don't be confused as it is just the beginning of the day and I'm speaking of sun set! We'll spend the day till down on the way! And it's an awesome ride as it is surrounded by serene nature and some old human inhibitions. On the way, comes the forest reserves. You can hear water flowing on the rocks here and there. The road is amidst the lush green and the mist. I never feel fatigue of riding long may it be however long!
On the way, we stopped a number of times to take pictures and make memories at some great wilderness and small old human habitations (Now Abandoned). This is why I said the journey will take till the dawn! To enjoy, take your own time. There should be no time limits and we should not feel like we are hurrying some where while we are enjoying our personal time at nature.
After watching the sunset, We rode back to Manipal and had some chat at room. You know, it's nice to have a little talk and gossiping of our old times after travel, as we meet after long! Then some future plans and plans of next travel! Before we depart on our ways.
