Yana is a village located in forests of the Kumta, Utttara Kannada district of Karnataka. It is 46km from Gokarna, known for the unusual karst rock formations. It is located in the Sahyadri mountain range of the Western Ghats.
on the way to yana, found this beautiful waterfalls. Not sure about the waterfalls name, we encounter this unexpectedly on the way (while riding the last hills of yana).
The Journey to yana is a wonderful ride, filled with greenery, paddy fields & ghat roads.
There are two massive rock outcrops known as the Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and the Mohini Shikhara. The huge rocks are composed of solid black, crystalline karst limestone. Bhairaveshwara Shikhara is 120 metres (390 ft) in height, while the Mohini Shikhara, which is smaller, is 90 metres (300 ft) in height. Yana is also well known as a pilgrimage centre because of the cave temple below the Bhairaveshwara Shikhara where a Swayambhu ("self manifested", or "that which is created by its own accord") linga has been formed. Water drops from the roof over the linga, adding to the sanctity of the place.
Around 4pm, the it was cloudy and thunder sound was heavy. So we started our journey back towards OM beach, Gokarna.
OM Beach Sunset View Point
We drive from Yana to Om beach directly for sunset. Reached here around 6pm and waited some more minutes for sunset.

Plan for the entire day is,

This day entirely depends on public transport, we had little mess-up in the plans too.
From Jog falls, we boarded bus at 4.30 pm towards udupi. Its stopped at Murdeshwar High way, then we took a auto (rs.30 for 2ppl) to reach the temple. The temple is around 2km from the Highway.
Due to lack of transport between Jog to Murdeshwar, we reached at 7.10 pm. It was already dark and the lift to go Gopuram (top floor) is closed (7.00pm). But we able to see the temple and surrounding parks to it.
It was late night in Murudeshwar, around 10pm finished our dinner and have to start to Udupi. Udupi is Just 100Km from here. So we want to spend some more time here and on the free time playing PUBG in the street.

Searched in online and came to know about Metro bikes at Manipal. Its located in a Cake shop called Crumbz, Vidyaratna Nagar, Manipal. They also having lots of bikes from Dio, Navi, Avenger to Royal Enfield. I have visited directly to the shop without prior booking.
Get a Bus from Udupi town bus stand to manipal and Getdown at Syndicate Circle. From there have to walk another 600m (use google map for Location finding)
There were only Dio, Navi, Avenger are available. They have hourly package and one day package. Based on bike the hourly/day package rent is calculated. I have booked Navi for 10hrs @ Rs. 160. Really that bike condition is so bad (No horn, indicator & Self-start is not working) but somehow adjusted for the day. But before proceed with the bike, check the conditions.
** No advance collected, only rent we paid.
Maple Beach is 13km from Crumbz-Vidyaratna Nagar. We have to reach st.marys Island from malpe beach through a Ferry boat ride. There are various water sport activities in the malpe beach like,
Ferry Ride to St.marys Island - Rs.300,
Banana Boat Ride - Rs. 200,

Hanging Bridge (ThimmanKudru Suspension Bridge - 8Km from malpe beach)
Returned from Hanging Bridge to Crumbz for returning bike. Then reached our room @7pm, quickly taken bath and proceed to the Udupi Krishna Temple.
Spent almost 2 hrs in temple, its very peaceful. Witnessed religious side of Udupi and the time being spent there was very good and gives a pleasant moment.
The trip as well as the day ends with Anna Dhanam (free food to devotees) provided in the temple and got the bus to Bengaluru to start our routine Life.
