Saklespur

Sakleshpur is located at a distance of around 222 km from Bangalore. The town is located in the south-western part of Karnataka and is well-connected to Bangalore by roadways and railways. However, the best way to reach Sakleshpur from Bangalore is by car, a journey of about 4 hours. The places covered during the journey from Bangalore to Sakleshpur are Bangalore – 32km -> Nelamangala – 43km -> Tumkur – 74km -> Tiptur – 41km -> Banavara – 30km -> Halebeedu – 39km -> Sakleshpur.

We started our journey from Bangalore to Sakleshpur at 3.0 pm and reached at around 7 pm evening by Car, takes  around 4 hours to cover the distance of around 222 km.
We booked a Butter Stone River Valley resort situated in between the misty, lush green, rolling hills and valleys, where we feel like a home away experience from away. The hospitality of staffs, food and cleanliness is very nice. The property owner Mr.Keshav is a very humble person, where he has done all the arrangements for camp fire with evening veg and nonveg snacks followed by an authentic south indian veg and non veg dinner.
There are activities like mud volley ball, rain dance , badminton, swimming pool has water directly falling from natural waterfall.
