Arrival at Bengaluru.Checked in the hotel. We had booked Oyo. You can Visit Lalbaug garden, Iskcon temple /spend day at leisure .
Bengaluru to Krishnagiri -
Krishnagiri is place of worship for Jains on Karnataka Tamilnadu border . Since I was with my parents , we had decided to visit this place. The temple - Parshva Padmavati is spread across huge campus . The entrance has lotus pond to welcome you. The interiors , the idols , the ambience is so beautiful and peaceful that you should not give a miss. Please obey the rules if you are visiting the temple.
Bengaluru- Srirangpatnam- Mysuru :
Attractions: Srirangnathswamy temple, Bird sanctuary, Mysore palace , Vrindavan gardens
We had already booked our vehicle for going Mysore. We checkout early and left for Mysore . On our way we stopped for breakfast at Kamath and then continued our journey . Its a pleasant view, coconut plantations on both sides of road . We then stopped at Srirangnathswamy temple.
It is an ancient temple of Vishnu God and must visit.Near to it there's a bird sanctuary too. You can visit it or skip and go directly to mysore. We had booked Oyo in Mysore too and it was near Mysore palace . Checked in and rested. In evening we strolled around and since it was 2nd October we visited Mysore palace in evening to see the Full lit.
Mysuru -Kushalnagar- Madikeri.(Coorg)
Attractions : The Golden temple-Narmodling monastery, Cauvery nisargdham, Raja seat, Omkareshwar temple
After check-out from Mysore we left for the beautiful hillstation Coorg. It takes approx 3 hours to reach Coorg form Mysuru. The first stop is the Tibetian temple at Kushalnagar. It is beautiful monastery . From there, cauvery nisargdham is the nearby stop . I had booked my stay at Mayura Valley which is next to Raja seat. So after visiting these 2 spots we headed for lunch at Udupi restaurant and day was at leisure. In evening, we headed for Raja's seat and Omkareshwar temple which were near from hotel.
Coorg : Abbey fall, Madikeri fort, Bhagmanadala , Triveni sangam, leisure
We started with Abbey falls. Abbey falls located admist coffee plantations, is most touristy spot of coorg. After lunch we headed to Bhagmanadala. The drive was beautiful with pleasant breeze kissing our faces and occasional sprinklers of rain falling. The road to Bhagmanadala is truly serene.
Coorg is famous for coffee, spices, homemade chocolates and liquor too .
Coorg -Manglore
Attractions : manglore beach -Thannirbhavi
Today we checked out from coorg. If you to visit virajpet or kabini then you can spend a day there or book hotel in virajpet area.Coorg to manglore takes approx 4hrs . It was cloudy and rainy too .
We had booked Oyo for manglore too . They are nice hotels plus budget friendly too.
We had flight next day in morning so we just thought of visiting beach and chilling there.
But as we reached beach, it rained heavily so we couldn't enjoy much. But whatever time we spent there , it was fantastic.
When in manglore, Gadbad icecream is must.
