This is the Ep2 of the Chikkamagalur trip and we decided to visit the Hebbe Falls instead of witnessing the highest peak of Karnataka. Unfortunately, Hebbe Falls is closed, There was nobody at the check post and we found out that personal vehicles are not allowed inside Hebbe Falls. Safari is available for Hebbe Falls and it will charge 500 per person for the ride.
We went to another viewpoint, Kemmangundi Sunset Point. I had never seen this much fog before! It was an awesome experience with cloud/fog covering the entire place. Kemmangundi Sunset Point is one of the most popular tourist destinations located in the heart of the Western Ghats in Karnataka.
The panoramic view of the hills, valleys, and the surrounding landscape is a sight to behold. Very well-maintained place and has multiple viewpoints. They have a very well-maintained garden. You easily can spend 2-3 hours at this place looking at the views.
Kemmangundi Sunset Point - 70 KM from Chikkamagaluru
Kemmangundi Sunset Point - 1 km from Z point starting point
