Mesmerizing Hogennakal waterfall

Hogennakal waterfall :
This waterfall is formed by the Kaveri river and is located at the border of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. It is one of the most visited places by Bangalore  people. This waterfall has its own aura and grandeur. A day visit is a must for every person living in Tamilnadu or Karnataka.

When to Visit :
The best time to visit is one or two months after monsoon is over, avoid monsoon season and its immediate months as the place is flooded.
To see Hogennakal waterfall in full glory and enjoy the coracle ride visit from October till February.
Post February water level decrease and most of the waterfall dries up.

How to reach from Bangalore :

Bike :
Hogennakal falls is 130 km from Bangalore, It is one of the best bike rides you will ever have in your life. Roads are too good if you select the Highway. It takes almost Two and a half hours to reach.
If you have a bike good, otherwise rent a bike from Royal brothers or Onn bikes for a Day. It will cost around 1000 for a bike.

Cab\Taxi :
If you are traveling in a group or with a family hire a cab or taxi which will cost around 4k for Innova.
If you have your own vehicle well and good.

Bus :
Local bus services are also there by bus Go to Hosur and then you can hire a cab to save the state toll tax which is around 1200.
one can go to the Bangalore Ernakulam Intercity till Dharmapuri and take TNSRTC bus for this fall.

Visit duration :
It is a day trip but if you want to explore the town few hotels are available which are affordable and good.
Start early in the morning so that you can go for a coracle ride early before it becomes hot.
