By Air: The closest airport to reach Karwar is the Goa airport which is 90 km away and takes around 2 and a half hours. Mangalore airport is also an option which is approximately 210 km away, taking approximately 5 hours by road.

By Rail: The nearest railway station is Mangalore, which is about 4 hours and 30 minutes away from Karwar. The closest railway station is 5 km away which is Shirwad.

By Road: Karwar is well-connected with all the major cities of Karnataka and the neighbouring states. Bus, cab or taxi services are available from most of the major towns so one can easily travel to Karwar.
