Weekend spot Goa - Hidden gems - Murdeshwar + Jog fall

Murdeshwar is located 225 KM from Goa. We are in for a months now and covered all places in Goa.

And guess what - we found this hidden gems.

But guys trust me its a worth place to visit.

Murdeshwar is world's 2nd highest Lord Shiva statue located on bank of Arabian sea & 18th story temple entry gate with lift to go on top.

Jog fall - India's third highest water fall, must visit place in monsoon..

Cost for 2 - Rs. 6,000 includs room + food.
Travel extra - based on travel mode, Cab or bus or self drive.

Nearby airport is Goa or Bangalore.

We started early morning from Goa - travel time ~5 hrs.

Don't forget to have breakfast at Madgaum Cafe - located in Margaon, Goa. This local place is serving good food since 1968. Tea, puri bhaji, maska bun is awesome..

1st we cover Jog fall - road is good but is located in western ghat mountain area, has slight sharp turns are there. It is located on Bangalore highway.

Best time to visit this place is monsoon. We visited post monsoon so, water flow was not much.

Then we headed to Murdeshwar temple - 2 hrs from Jog fall. Night stay there.

Shiv ji on bank of Arabian sea is mesmerizing & no word to explain the beauty..best place for evening..

In evening on sea front - snacks are available like gol-gappe, sev-puri, pani-puri, fish fry,
In afternoon - water boat, jet ski also available...

Beach is cleaner than Goa..and water is calm.. so, ideal for enjoy bathing..

Now tips -
1. visit Murdeshwar only if you got Hotel room in RNS Residency.. other hotels are not good. From room balcony - enjoy sea beach + lord Shiva both.
2. Self drive option will be cheaper & also safer..
3. Good place for youngsters+ family+ kids.
