We went by car, left Bangalore@11.30pm and reached to sakleshpur town @ early morning 4.30AM. We searched for a good room to stay finally got it ,went there and did some rest then got up and got ready for our beautiful journey.
We left room around 7Am and our First place was DONIGAL falls...It was a small place where you can spend 20-30 minutes..it is safe place as it is a very little falls...after spending time here next spot was MANJARABAD FORT ...we had a tiffen in hotel very next to entrance of fort.fort is in star type...you have to climb around 200-300 steps to reach fort. When you climb up you can see all the hills nearby from top..It was a beautiful view. Good spot for pre wedding photoshoot and good place to spend with family and friends..after spending time there our next spot was Hanbal falls/Manjenahalli falls/ Abbigunde falls which is around 25 kms from Fort..Before this you'll get kadumane tea estate you can also visit there if you want to add extra place in your plan. But be sure they will only allow inside on Sunday only for tourists. Unfortunately we went on Saturday so we couldn't covered this place in our plan as we are not allowed to go. Aftee 25 kms we reached to Magajahalli falls It is a beautiful place you can play in water ,you can feel the touches of little fishes when you put your legs little inside...good place to play Cascade of water will make you happy definitely. There is no facility for dress change for girls,so be ensure before playing.
After this our next spot was Bettadabairaveshwara Temple located near to Mekanagadde 14 km from Magajahalli falls.
There is a Temple of Lord bairaveshwara ancient temple built hoysala age. This is the kind of place where you can sit and enjoy the nature. You can go till near to temple by vehicle or you can see a board in kannda saying Padarakshe Illi bidi (Leave your footwear here) by that way you can reach the temple with stairs in Forest ..it is around 800metre-1 km.Temple was closed.View from above is beautiful.you can also do trek also..very small trek straight from temple gate you can see a way towards hills..you can climb it easily ..it may be slippery during rainy season and leeches also would there...but we didn't find any during our visit. You can see the Ettina Bhuja hill from the top .View from above is amazing.Peaceful place lessely crowded place .best time is during early morning or evening before 5 to enjoy fogg. As it in deep inside of Forest do stay after 6 there.
Our next spot was Devara mane view point.
Actually this is the best place to enjoy the nature.it is gem of mountain.Best place to see sunrise and sunset. We were lucky to watch sunset. There was no entry fees.so many people were waiting to see the sunset. It was beautiful to see golden sun in middle of greenhill. After sunset fogg started to come towards us..air was started to get more cold.you can spend very good time here to enjoy with friends and family.
Then we headed towards chikkamagaluru via mudigere to stay.
