Gokarna Getaway

So while we had this jamming happen other night, we met few amazing people Shruti, chitranjan, sujith (the owner of hostel lit) abhimanyu, they insisted so we extended our stay for one more stay, we started our day with chilling at this peaceful seating area of hostel lit, soon we went for the breakfast and had most amazing filter coffee and dosa and idly.

Mirjan Fort: we came back and it was the time for us to try something different, we took our scooters and went for long drive for Mirjan Fort, a destination 10km away from Gokarna, the weather was awesome, at one point it started raining, endless roads and my favorite person shweta bansal on the bike.. the best drive ever, we stayed there for a while, enjoyed the fresh weather of Gokarna and then we were back around 4pm.

Om Beach: Our next destination I call Ireland of India, the om Beach, what a scenic view and serene beach, I was lost in a paradise, I will never forget that view, the peace, I felt that day heaven is on earth and it is preserved for me, while coming back from om Beach I had the most thrilled drive with Shruti, I call her 21 year old version of me, reckless, fearless, spontaneous and fun girl, we bonded to the very next level, from sharing our dreams, to our future plans, to even planning a bagpack trip of Europe..!!
We experienced the most beautiful rain of Gokarna while our way coming back from om Beach, the amazing roads, wild forest, two girls on scooters and a thrilled ride.
We went back to our hostel, had an amazing south Indian dinner and it was time for  a fun night in hostel lit, from playing zinga to mafia to exchanging our childhood stories to dancing out loud, we had it all and I made my first ever dog friend "Misty", the protector of realm hostel lit, finally we slept around 4am!!

A small village where these city people like us hustling with their life finds a escape, exchange some stories, some experiences and some memories...!!

Yes on exactly that node I started my journey, with a spectacular view, and a rush in my soul..

My journey proceeded slowly, I caught up with my friends in a hostel started by a young boy name sujith... We checked in, got ready, hired the scooters and within three hours we were on the roads of the town, exploring the hidden gems of the city....

Soon we were hungry and on a mission of good food hunt, here we found our first spot...

Myntra cafe: A serene place on the top of the mountains, I remember the calmness that place had, where you can hear the voice of the ocean waves, pieces of some old classic music, a bearded guy lost in his coffee making and my joyous girls....!!

Here's one story of a wanderer girl from Canada, she was full of tattoos and accessories, her eyes were bright, she was wondering, Sometimes she was at peace, sometimes she was just puzzled, she was writing on the Indian bachelor's life while travel which is a whole story in itself..!!!

We spoke to her for an hour, hearing her experiences of traveling in India and hit our first beach at Gokarna, "kudle beach", When the world was created Gokarna was kept well preserved, hidden, mysterious and I could feel that peace with each wave i was crushing to...!!

White Elephant Cafe: Tired, drizzled by waves we reach back to our hostel, changed and that was the time for a fun evening, we dressed up beautifully, drove our scooters and started looking for a place, and it turned out to be an adventurous night, climbing stairs in a dark night, four girls looking for a place desperately  to party or chill, we reached at kudle beach and there was nothing except few dogs barking, scared yet thrilled we continued our search and reached to this amazing cafe "white elephant cafe" at kudle beach, finally a justice to the way we dressed up, amazing food and drinks, made our Eve and I made a new friend there, a kitty cat..

Amazing evening, we came back to our hostel and the main highlight is there, we sat in the common area of hostel lit, and met some most amazing people, some people played beatbox and guitar and soon it was a jam, what a fun night it was unfortunately I wasn't the part of that fun evening and that is a mystery..!!

Morning, this was our last day of Gokarna, we woke up at 9, got ready, took our bikes and it was the time to explore some destinations unknown, Started from a very mysterious drives of Gokarna town we went to a very isolated beach of Gokarna, I wish I knew the name, the only people on that beach was our group like there is no one else there, and I was feeling like this is the world's end with absolutely no one around , the peace I was aiming for was right there, the clean water and waves, we got lost with those waves, danced our heart loud and left the beach by capturing all the experiences in our heart... We came back to hostel, it was time to bidding goodbye to my favorite person I met in Gokarna, Shruti and chintan left for Mumbai, we had our lunch, last conversation and it was time for me to leave Gokarna with bunch of memories and most amazing experience...!!
